Handicapped Parking

We listened to our veterans ...

To better serve our veterans with physical limitations, the Medical Center will be replacing regular parking spaces with "patient only" handicap parking spaces to the top deck, west side, of the parking garage. Expected completion early September 2007.

This parking is restricted to "patient only" handicap parking and not for volunteers or staff with handicap parking permits.

Shuttle bus transportation to and from all other parking locations will continue to be provided.

Security

VAMC West Palm beach Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 5595. In case of an emergency, dial 2222. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.

Our parking lots are also equipped with emergency phones that automatically ring the security office when picked up.
