Voter Registration Opportunities at the VAMC WPB
CLC resident Robert L. Grant says, "it is important to vote so we can get what we want and what the country needs."
If you're not registered to vote, you are missing out on a great national privilege and a significant personal freedom. The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center Voluntary/Recreation Therapy Service proudly sponsors volunteers in the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center Main Atrium and Community Living Center to assist Veterans, family members, employees and visitors in need of registering to vote or making address changes to existing voting privileges for the upcoming national election.
Currently more than 100 people have taken advantage of this opportunity! If you need to make voting registration changes, visit the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center Main Atrium or Community Living Center:

Voting in a local, state, or national election is an opportunity provided by democratic nations to their citizens. But some citizens don't value that option and fail to exercise the right to vote. Here are some great reasons to register to vote.
- Casting a vote allows individuals to express their choice among candidates who
wish to become government leaders. - Voting provides a medium for citizens to support the democratic structure.
- Supporting the electoral process helps to reinforce your regional government.
- Showing up at the poll on voting day sets a good example to others.
- Finally, taking time to vote reflects pride in your nation and its government.
